The latest album from Calexico is a bit of a let down, a disappointment. Although at times “Carried to Dust” shows real flashes of a band on the way up, it is dragged down by inconsistency and concept. Read the full review on this one that tries too hard to emulate the soundtrack from a Western film. “Carried to Dust” is just mediocre.
