Microcastle opens with a brief intro “Cover Me (Slowly)” which is also the opening for the second track. The music on this track is slow and dying. It has a sense of sorrow in it as Deerhunter go on performing it. You can hear the synthesizers keeping the background afloat as the guitar enters and creates the rhythm that goes along with this intro.
