Problem After Computer Starts Up?

after i start computer, my desktop just seems to freeze. i can not click on anything and the properties bar just has the loading icon (sand time). i now have to go to task manager (alt + ctrl +delete) and close “explorer.exe” and reopen it to fix this problem. is this a registry problem or something? thank you in advance Related Posts I need a free to install and free repair on wd Registry Fix?
